Hi. I am back to share another project.
A layout of my gorgeous crazy girl. She is a little bit crazy and
I absolutely adore her for that and many other facets of her wonderful personality.
She makes me laugh.
When I create I don’t go for perfect as I do think there is a beauty in imperfection. A little crooked
is fine, rub ons that don’t quite rub on can add to the overall effect, etc. I find it quite liberating. For
me it’s about the process of creating as well as the end result (the layout).
For this layout I grabbed a neutral piece of cardstock which just happens to be my favourite starting
I had a vague idea what I wanted to do with this photo and went through my stash. I found
the flower rub ons and decided to use the whole sheet. I then found the word rub ons and realised
straight away that they weren’t going to totally transfer but that worked for me for this layout.
I then got out my distress ink using the palette from the flower rub ons and added some colour.
I used some modelling cream with some mesh to add some dimension. A title, a stamped circle and a little heart completed the page. I like to add a little symbolism / extra meaning to layouts when I can even if it is just me that knows the connection. Here I strategically popped the little heart above the U in fun (love you)!
