The Importance of Journaling with Sara

Hi PaperHaus fans!  I have a layout to share with you that is all about the journaling!   I am not a big journaling kind of person but there are some photos that make me want to type a book - this is one of those photos.

This layout is has a photo of my Grandmother and me.   My grandmother passed away a little over a year ago and my sister brought me this picture.   I must have been about 6-7 years old and its obvious I am crying. This little picture sums up so many things about my grandmother.  She was always full of comfort and hugs, she was there to show you the sliver lining in a gloomy cloud and she had a smile that was infections.  I wanted to capture all of this and more with this layout.
My craftiness comes of my Grandmother, she was  paper crafter, quilter and more!  I wanted there to be lots of layers to this layout, just like there were lots of layers to her - mother, wife, cook, grandmother, woman, crafter, etc. You can tell I piled on the layers but one layer in the back is actually a paper bag!  This is where I will store my journaling.  I typed up my thoughts and memories bring sure it would fit inside the bag.  My journaling is not the main focus of this layout but its defiantly the important part that will always be there.
Thanks for stopping by!
